yey new character/ Handler for Tokotas!! this is Tobias he is a shifter, that lives practiaclly in the artic circle. he is a snow lion (i just made it up) but he shifts into a human though not very often. he used to live with his pride hunting caribou and surviving like the lions on the plains. there was at one point many tribes/prides that dotted the lands though out russia, alaska and father north through canada. some made it down into the continital US but most died out due to territory desputes with early natives and other creatures, such as werewolves. but as human population increased the prides that lived on the coast of now adays Maine got pushed back, and most began to migrate into the far north, causing them to lose alot of thier human contact and most began to be hunters in the far north, they hunted like the animals around them, became profound swimmers, and developed like polar bears a layer of fat to keep them warm. Tobias lives with his pride currently (or until this precise moment) they are a small group of 12 but they are hardy, and precise fighters. Territory disputes are common among prides since they covet the most sustainable areas that give home to caribou or large amounts of seals, fish, and bears. 
what is happening here. 
The snow lion ran, what he had seen he didnt know, it was unfamiliar to him, larger than a bear this thing had a mane like a lion but smelled of wolf and two legged kind. And it was chasing him. The snow lion charged through banks of snow, breathing out puffs of clouds. He had never seen anything like that in his life, he had to get back to the pride, have back up to face this thing. He jumped over another snow bank clearing it jump to see a flurried explosian of snow behind him. "it is too fast, Cave loose him in the cave!!" the snow lion thought as he quickly changed direction he hopped into an ice cave his Ice cave "i will lead him till he is lost. then get the pride" The feline scuttled past the colomns of ice and over the pebbled paths that lined his home. he hopped up into a crevice then slid along hopping to confuse his adversary. "Renn i dont know what that was, come on girl, at least we can explore this place." The Feline peered over the edge of his ice ledge, their was a two leg with the monster, "why must humans chase things, obviously it didnt want to be messed with." The feline could hear the Monster talking just like he would with his pride memebers. "what are you" The feline chuffed. The monster turned its head and her  amber eyes met the gaze of the snow lion. "Tokota, what are you?" The feline didnt know what to call himself, "i dont know how to call my self" The tokota looked at her handler then back at the cat "Shifter is was my human would say, i have meet only a few, but you dont smell of wolf man. you barly smell of man at all, many just, Cat?" The tokota had only meet one cat in her life a grumpy little thing that her human loved to pieces. the feline could hear his pride shifting about behind the wall of ice he was perched upon. "GO, my kind will tear you apart!" The feline said hissing as he did, at that point the human turned around. "wha.. wha... what is that?" Renn growled and moved closer to her human. she was looking for a way out but before she could six of the felines where around her. "STOP!!!" Renn heard the kinder feline yell, a screech that echoed through out the cave. Renn growled "LET US GO!!! " she looked at the leader, he had beads and tusks tied into his mane feathers adorned a leather necklace around the other seemingly important cat. "leave us be, we where just leaving." Renn stood infront of Her human ready to take them all on. "please just let them go, its my fault they saw me and followed me here. " the young lion said to the older. "He who the stars forgot, you are banished. you know the laws out to the farthest north with you." The lions retreated leaving the lone lion looking at Renn and her human he began to pad his way to the front. "sorry that happend, you could probably live with my pack!" He who the stars forgot looked at Renn " i am to go to the farthest north and die." the tokota turned her head. "turn into human, dont tell me you cant because only human hands can make leather. he who the stars forgot looked at the Tokota, "but launguage is different, in this prey and meat eater speak the same. human is not the same." Renn chuffed. "you can learn," He who the stars forgot took a deep breath and began to transform. He woke very cold, he looked at his hands and the rest of his nude body. the Tokota was still standing there with peircing eyes "told you so" she said with a flick of her ear and slight whine. The now human lion tried to retort but barring his teeth only made the Tokota bark "ha! thats cute." she said. her Human still in a slight disbelife of what she just saw happen, and the fact there was now a nude man in front of her. Renn shook herself snapping her human out of the shock she was in. "oh uh... here, have a blanket." The man took the blanket looking at it, his kind had no humanity left, things for him where strange. "put it around you" Renn said wagging her tail. the man put the blanket over his shoulders, it began to warm his cold core. "Blanket, " He said aloud to Sammie. "yes blanket," she pointed at the blanket nodding yes. "you sound so silly" Renn mocked with a simple ear turn. " Sammie dug through her saddle bags and was able to produce some things he could wear, deans moccasians somehow where in thier. "Feet" Sammie said pointing at his feet then motioning how to put on shoes. He who the stars forgot after awhile put on the moccisains the cold left his feet. "here let me make this into something functional. " Sammie began to tie the blanket around the man, trying to make a makeshift jacket. "Warm?" the man said making sammie jump. "are you warm?" she said. His eyes fell down he didnt know what to say. "get on with her, just ride with us, i can carry both." the man looked at the Tokota, Sammie hopped on and looked at the man. "well come on" she motioned him closer. He tried to to just jump but his human from was more limited in range. Renn sat down and he climbed on that way. "lets go" "hold on feline" the man grabbed around sammies waist as they rode quickly back to the barn. once they were there sammie quickly grabbed clothes for the man. "here put these on." Sammie looked away as the man took the snow soaked blanket off and put the clothes on. Renn laid next to him "why does she not look at me?" Renn looked at her human "humans dont like to not have the alternate skins on. i have never seen what they look like with out them until today." "how do i say things to her, i only now natraul speak." Renn looked at the man, this was a tough question. "listen i guess, she will teach you."
